This material is 'old stock' Slaughter Mountain fire agate rough, mined between 2012-2017 by members of the San Carlos Apache Tribe.
Slaughter Mountain is known for some of the best Fire Agate in the world with intense color variations from bright reds and oranges to intense greens, purples and blues. The fire agate mineral deposit is located on the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation and it's mining is only allowed to be carried out by members of the tribe. These are 100% natural rocks and are subject to normal flaws as found in nature or the result of hard-rock mining extraction (cracks, chips, etc).
